Is Facebook Marketing Losing You Friends?

If you are running your Business with the help of Facebook Marketing there is a great possibility you could be really annoying your friends and colleagues, and could in fact be losing potential Business Partners because of it.

Why, you may ask?

The simple answer to that question is that nobody likes a hard sell, and nobody likes being taken for a ride.

Facbook was set up as a Social Networking site, where people can chat to existing friends and catch up with what is happening in their lives, as well as a great opportunity to meet new friends and form new relationships.

In this capacity it has become a phenomenal success. Virtually everyone with a computer now has a Facebook profile, from very young children right through to the elderly, and it is fast becoming a great institution.
After all, where else can people talk to and make new friends instantly all over the world, except on Facebook, (with the exception of course of the other Social networking sites such as Twitter, Myspace, Youtube etc).

However, with the phenomenal success of Facebook, it was perhaps inevitable that Business people all over the world soon realised the enormous potential of Facebook Marketing which they had at their  fingertips – with the ability to be able to  instantly market their business to people all over the world literally with just the press of a button.

The first people to do this undoubtedly had great success, but the problem that has arisen now is that Facebook marketing has become vastly over saturated within the social networking community, and people are quite frankly sick of being marketed to every time they go on their Facebook account.

They get Friendship requests and quite innocently let people in, only to find they are being pitched at left, right and centre.

Is there a place then, for viable network marketing and doing business on Facebook?

The answer to this is a resounding YES – but only if you go about it the right way!!

Get out there and primarily make friends, be interested in other people and add value to their lives with your interaction and comments.
Only after you have given them something of value should you try to talk to them about your business, and then in a very careful and non-imposing way.

Facebook marketing can be a great, fun way to do Business, but it is vitally important to go about it the right way – or you could find yourself being banned!
